In
the left photo Fausto is in action on the Lugano course: as a shadow,
there follows the Belgian Derijcke. After few metres, Fausto dashes off to
conquer the rainbow jersey (1953). As soon as he got out of the car (photo
below), Fausto was embraced by the "blind of Novi",
Biagio Cavanna, his talent scout. |
